RECONCILIATION

in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight.
Paul is talking about how Jesus, through His death on the cross, has reconciled us to God.
in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight. Colossians 1:22
Reconciliation means restoring a relationship, and that is precisely what Jesus did for us. Before Jesus, our sins separated us from God.
Through the sacrifice of Jesus, He bridged that gap, bringing us back into a relationship with God.
Not only did Jesus reconcile us, but He did it in a way that presented us as holy, blameless, and above reproach in the sight of God. Let that sink in for a moment.
Despite our flaws and imperfections, God sees us through the lens of the sacrifice of Jesus. He sees us as holy and blameless because of what Jesus has done for us.
Now, that is not a license to live however we want. It is a call to live in a manner worthy of the sacrifice Jesus made for us.
It is a call to pursue holiness and righteousness in our everyday lives, knowing that we are already seen as holy and blameless in the eyes of God.
What an incredible gift we have been given through the sacrifice of Jesus. It motivates us to live in a way that honors God, knowing He sees us as holy and blameless because of Jesus.
Take some time today to consider the magnitude of the sacrifice Jesus made for you and its meaning for your life. Let it motivate you to live boldly for Him, knowing that you are loved, accepted, and seen as holy in His sight.
Heavenly Father, what a price was paid so I am redeemed, and You are my Father God. I never want to take it for granted, but I desire to grow in the grace and knowledge of You. I will live to honor that price that was paid for my salvation as You lead my life. Thank You, Father, for Jesus. I thank You in the name of Jesus. Amen.
