EVERLASTING GLORY

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

AUDIO VERSION

Our challenging times are just a blip compared to eternity. It might be tough now, but it is nothing compared to what is coming, an everlasting glory beyond what we can imagine.

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:17-18

Do not get caught up in what you see with your eyes right now. There is more to this story, an unseen, eternal reality unfolding.

It is like having a pair of spiritual glasses. The struggles, pain, and sadness are temporary, but through those lenses, you see the eternal purpose, the unseen hand of God at work.

Your perspective shifts from the present troubles to the promise of God through Jesus spending eternity with Him.

When challenges hit, and they will, do not lose heart. Instead, see each challenge as an opportunity for the glory of God to shine through your life.

It is a shift in mindset, a perspective change that says: God, I trust You in this. I know there is something greater at play.

In a world fixated on the visible and immediate, fix your eyes on the eternal. Your current challenge is an opportunity for the glory of God to work in your life.

Lift your eyes, keep the faith, and remember, the best is yet to come.

Heavenly Father, I am thankful for the Words You have given to us in the Bible. As I read and meditate on Your Words day and night, I will make my way prosperous, and I will have good success. As I obey Your Word, Your will and presence will be displayed to others and the end result is joy and peace. There is joy and peace in believing as I walk in obedience to Your Word. Yes, the best is yet to come. I pray and thank You in the name of Jesus. Amen.
