CITIZENS OF HEAVEN
Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God.
Paul reminds us of our heavenly citizenship and that we are no longer strangers and foreigners, but we have become fellow citizens of Heaven.

This Bible verse speaks to our identity as Believers and our belonging to the family of God.
We often search for a sense of belonging and identity in the world around us. Some people seek it through their nationality, culture, career, education, or social groups.
As followers of Jesus, we discover that our primary citizenship is not of this world but of Heaven. We are citizens of Heaven and join those who have gone before us.
This realization reminds us that we are not alone in our faith. We are part of a family of Believers who have become citizens of Heaven.
Anyone who has gone before us, as well as our fellow believers today, are our brothers and sisters in Christ. We share a common heritage and purpose.
Recognizing our heavenly citizenship helps us shift our focus from the temporary concerns of this world to the eternal realities of the kingdom of God.
We are called to live knowing that our true home is in Heaven. This gives us comfort and hope, especially in times of difficulty and uncertainty.
As citizens of Heaven, we are ambassadors of Christ, representing His love, grace, and truth to those around us.
Our actions and words should reflect our true citizenship and point others to the life transforming power of a relationship with God.
As you go about your day, remember that you are a fellow citizen of Heaven, and let your life shine as a testimony to the world of the amazing grace of God that has welcomed you into His family.
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the amazing grace of You that has welcomed me into Your family. This realization reminds me that we are not alone in our faith. We are part of a family of Believers who have become citizens of Heaven. As I go about my day, I will remember that I am a fellow citizen of Heaven and let my life shine as a testimony to the world of the amazing grace of You that has welcomed me into Your family. Thank You, my Father God. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
